Jiwa Spa at Conrad Bali offers great treatments for men who are looking to stay healthy and enjoy a good pampering into the bargain

One of the biggest spas on the island of Bali, Jiwa Spa, boasts a large and classy lobby with a very high ceiling. The ten treatment rooms here lie up a flight of stairs and each features a massage bed, a bathtub and a shower cabinet. The room for couples, which sports a granite bathtub for two, also comes with a nice garden view. The spa complex boasts its own 25-metre outdoor swimming pool and also offers five spa pavilions and two spa villas, which are located near the resort’s Conrad Suites wing.

Jiwa Spa offers four treatment packages especially designed for men. The Energizer Facial lasts for 75 minutes and will leave you looking radiant, making it a great pre-party preparation. The Distress Facial lasts for 15 minutes longer and is good after a long-haul flight or at the weekend after a busy and demanding week at work.

The other two packages combine three or more treatments into “action-packed” two-and-a-half-hour spa visits. The Marine Balance polishes your body with salt and algae before continuing to pamper you with a thorough back, scalp, face and foot massage. The Ocean Energy package begins with a herbal steam shower before continuing with a massage and a facial.

Jiwa Spa uses Thalgo products, which are mostly made of algae – a substance rich in natural minerals – and seawater, which is also good for the body. There are also five different massage oils to choose from, ranging from a blend of mango-and-orange extracts to one primarily comprised of French lavender.

The Wellness Studio, a 175-square-metre space, is an integral part of Jiwa Spa and offers plenty of health-related activities to get stuck into, including yoga, pilates, meditation sessions, spiritual awakenings, classes on stretching, flexibility, cardio and fitness, and workouts on your core and abdominal muscles.
