what’s the resort like?
Kayumanis Nusa Dua comprises 19 one- and two-bedroom villas, each of which is nestled within its own secluded, walled garden. Inside these walls lie supremely comfortable villas of the highest quality, designed with themes that range from Balinese and Javanese to modern and Nusa Tenggara. While the front area of the resort is dominated by beautiful water features, the middle and rear areas have been designed as compounds with private villas which are separated by walls and footpaths.
what are the villas like?
We tested the Kayumanis Suite (which is also known as the Honeymoon Suite Villa) and admired the semi-open bathing facilities, which included a very cool Jacuzzi. The full-length glass doors and windows made the indoor area – which was fully air-conditioned – feel and look bigger than it was. The round, white bed is the design centrepiece of the villa and can be used as a lounge to watch TV from.
what about the facilities?
Kayumanis Nusa Dua has its own beach club, which is located within walking distance at the rear of the resort. The club is fully equipped with everything that guests could possibly need during a decent beach session: towels, snorkelling equipment, binoculars, etc. On top of that, the resort also has a spa, which is set inside a two-storey villa and which offers a fine range of treatments, from something as simple as a foot scrub to aromatherapy massages.
what about food and drink?
The resort’s swanky Italian eatery is called Piasan, and dining here is an experience in itself thanks to its spectacular architecture. Kayumanis Nusa Dua’s second restaurant is Tetaring, which is located next door to Piasan, and which serves both Western and South-East Asian bites.
