My Eyes are Your Eyes by Carlos De La Rua
starting 23rd march 2007 - Exhibition at Melia Hotel Nusa Dua

Carlos Photo

Carlos De La Rua – a talented Spanish photographer who lives in Sanur has captured images of a Bali we don't see often. His sharp eye creates compositions that view everyday topics in a new light – making art out of the ordinary. Some of his best work is in black and white although he also works a lot with startling monocramatic reflections and some block colours. All worth a look!
Watch out for a spread of his pix in April Hello Bali! T. 771 510

Ripcurl

For years surfers have been wishing they could stay warm in the water, especially in freezing ocean conditions that are not necessarily part of Bali except perhaps in the cold currents around Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan.

Coming to the rescue of all these surfers, Rip Curl has recently launched the H-Bomb, a wet suit with a heat source in the centre of the back. It warms the blood which can then flow to the extremities of the body.

It's infra red effect with a theraputic heat quality ensures that surfers stay loose in the water and enjoy their wave riding all the more. The suit is powered by two lithium batteries which keep working for hours. www.ripcurl.com
