Mary Lee is a purveyor of New Age development courses and spiritual training. She is intent on bringing psychics, spiritual healers, and personal development gurus to Bali and possibly the odd Yoga celebrity teacher as well. "Change is good – life enhancing is good in our lives" she explains. "A lot of people in Bali are looking for positive support and ways to see the world and life in a positive way – which is what we all need right now."

She sees Bali as a spiritual centre and this island with its amazing energy is "just the best place in Asia, and possibly the world, to develop one's spiritual self."A fine tribute indeed!

A long time resident of Bali, Mary started her career in the fashion industry and export business with shops and export but as Bali's energy seeped into her consciousness, she became more drawn to the esoteric and discovered
a niche need on the island for more spiritual pursuits. She feels that people – both foreigners and Balinese/Indonesians in Bali, are in need of spiritual succour. As long as they can speak English, Indonesians and Balinese are very welcome and at special rates.

A great variety of nationalities have attended workshops – Russians, Americans, Australians, Italians and other Europeans, Indians, New Zealanders and Indonesians – everyone loves coming to Bali to do this kind of stuff. Bali in itself is a very healing environment. Mutli national events are also healing as different nationalities mesh using the universal language of esoteric healing that we all hold within ourselves. We can all communicate with that language. She sees Bali can become an esoteric mecca, where people come for healing of body mind and spirit.

She has already run two successful Alpha meditation courses and a second one will run in mid-November. "An alpha course helps people to access their alpha state – our dream state where we access our create energy – artists and musicians spend a lot of time in this state – the level of the brain you are either dreaming or being creative the state we have when relaxed and it is in this state that we can start to clear our vision and be able to make life changing decisions, whether about our job, our career or how we want to spend our time," she explains. Courses are held in at the Dhyana Pura Hotel in Seminyak.

She also helps to organize the Deeksha energy transmission nights which can also help people to make life changing decisions. Mary's favourite adage is " be careful what you ask for because you just might get it."

According to Mary "Many Deeksha followers have discovered little miracles have happened in their lives - land deals have gone through, new loves have come into their lives

or even new jobs." It is certainly worth trying and the worst that can happen to you is that is you may feel a lightening of the spirit and a certain clarity of thought.

"Bali is the most exquisite and beautiful place to do workshops on the planet. The Balinese have a very strong connection to the earth and their island. And that energy makes it a very special place to hold workshops. There is so much green in Bali and Green is the colour of the healing heart cakra – soothing and nourishing. We just feel blessed to be in Bali." Right now Mary is researching exciting new places to hold workshops.

Body talk – another form of hands on healing where you awaken the memory of healing within in the body – a form of balancing of the body mind and spirit. Raw Foods Symposium with raw food "non-cooking classes held by Julia Jus, a raw food gourmet chef from Chiang Mai in Thailand and a homeopathic detox doctor. A detox workshop will also be held probably in February 2007. In June 2007 we are going to be holding the Raw Food International Summit where raw foodists from all over the world will come to collaborate and share thoughts and recipes.

There are plenty of things coming and we are hoping to bring in some big names in the next year with bigger more international events. Expect an international yoga workshop in the coming months."As word spreads, people will start contacting me and our aim is to bring in bigger, international events.
